Les p'tits pisteurs course

Haute-Savoie Nordic, in collaboration with the departmental association Centre Départemental d'Enseignement et de Développement du Secourisme 74 (CDEDS74), will be offering 2 courses in February 2025 during the school vacations for young members of Haute-Savoie ski clubs aged 12 to 14: "Les p'tits pisteurs".

3 days for :

• raise awareness of the Nordic first-aid profession, create future vocations
• train young people in first aid with a first-aid course / PSC certificate (First Aid for Citizens).

Priority will be given to young members of haut-savoyard ski clubs this winter (2024-2025), but the course should be extended and opened to a wider audience in subsequent winters.

The Centre Nordique d'Agy and the Domaine Nordique des Glières will each host a group of 10 young licensees.

Supervision by 2 specialized instructors and a team of first-aid ski patrollers from the Nordic ski areas concerned, who will welcome the young people and present the specific features of their sectors.

OBJECTIVES: to foster cohesion, community spirit, a sense of responsibility and personal development among young participants. Promote the values of work, solidarity, civic commitment and respect for oneself, others and the environment. But also to prepare them for multi-activity and versatility in their future professional careers.
